Robin Perdue has been the fearless leader of the locally owned VIP Pet Services brigade for more than 13 years. The award-winning animal wellness company believes that pet parents deserve to have their loved ones taken care of as if they’re there when they must be away from home.
VIP Pet Services offers in-home pet care solutions to busy pet owners throughout the Dallas and Austin metro areas. As an active member of the community, Robin has been featured as “Best of Dallas” by “D” Magazine; “Best of Carrollton” 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013; “Best Pet Sitter” on WFAA TV’s A-List 2009 and 2010; DFW’s Ultimate Best by Pegasus News 2010; Kudzu’s Best of 2012; and Angie’s List Super Service Award 2012 and 2013.
Robin’s high touch pet care services paired with her penchant for using technology allows VIP pet sitters to give animals the attention they deserve while keeping owners updated every step of the way.
Deja helps to coordinate client and sitter schedules, oversees the staff call and so much more!For the past 10 years Deja was in the accounting world and owned her own firm for the past 5. She’s really excited to be working for VIP because she’s an animal lover. She has a Maine Coone cat and an English Setter puppy.
In her spare time she likes to garden and sew.
Niki Clark is our energetic staff cheerleader and scheduling maven. Her lively outlook is infectious in the VIP Pets community and she believes everyone deserves to feel appreciated for what they contribute.
As the sitter relations leader, Niki coordinates clients and sitters’ schedules along with sending out cards and gifts, she trains and mentors staff, manages the team’s VIP Facebook page and contests, coordinates conference calls, and sends out newsletters.
She takes pride in her work and meeting new people who share the same love she has for animals. Living it up to her means each day you must live in the moment, and she can’t live without a beach visit at least once a year.

After all your pet’s life is in our hands, and unlike a well-meaning neighbor or friend, your pet is our only focus during the visit.
What’s the VIP Pets staff training process?
In the initial hiring and screening of staff we conduct a “fact check” and interview process to ensure we understand the sitter’s personality, professionalism and commitment to pet care. We also give them an overview of our company and what it takes to be a sitter who not only cares for pets, but is also a caretaker for our client’s home in their absence.
We pair them with a seasoned sitter or team lead for mentoring so they can learn what it’s like to be a VIP pet sitter. Then they participate in a four day training session covering every aspect of working on the VIP team from pet sitting to caring for the client’s home, so we can set our team up to succeed.
Bi-weekly team calls and newsletters are sent to the sitters for additional training and learning ways to wow the client. There’s a lot of interaction between the office staff and the team to keep morale high and make sure everyone is on the same page.
Our top sitters are rewarded and receive recognition when our clients tell us they are doing a great job, because we love getting positive feedback from the pet owners. All of our pet sitters and dog walkers must live or work within their service area and either have pets of their own, or have had pets in the past.
