VIP Pet Services’ president/owner, Robin Perdue, has always had a love for animals. Growing up in Austin TX, she rescued pets off the street and often brought them home, much to her mother’s chagrin. Her childhood home was a sanctuary for dogs, kittens, mice, birds, tadpoles, lizards, frogs, and even snakes.
So, it’s no surprise that today Robin owns/operates one of the largest pet sitting companies in TX. VIP Pet Services has 40 plus professional pet sitters and dog walkers on staff to deliver top-notch care to pets in more than 30 areas around Dallas and Austin. It has been written up and won several awards from various organizations (https://vippets.net/robin-petsitting/ ).
Robin is a huge champion of animal rescue and supports the no-kill movement across the state, Dallas and Austin Pet’s Alive (Dallas: https://dallaspetsalive.org and Austin: https://www.austinpetsalive.org ). Robin also sits on the board for Holly’s Hope Animal Rescue (https://hollyshoperescue.com ), a non-profit organization that saves Texas fur-babies from being euthanized. The volunteers of Holly’s Hope (HH) work to find adoptive parents or foster care for animals who linger in TX shelters. HH has a broad community outreach in the Austin and Dallas areas with a 24/7 hotline for any shelter animal in its “eleventh hour.”
Robin has worked tirelessly to help save shelter pets by networking with rescues throughout the country. She facilitates adoptions, shelter rescues, medical care and pet transportation to ensure these pets find a loving home. Her extraordinary heart loves all creatures and she wants the best life for each and every one of them, whether it’s your pet her professional staff is caring for, or a passed-over fur baby who needs rescue. She hopes that someday we can eliminate euthanizing homeless animals once and for all because all animals deserve to be loved and cared for.
