Tell us about your pets?
I have four cats (all girls!) so it’s a full house! Their names are Jazzy, Sammy, Lacey, and our littlest Stormy (who we call our Rat) My previous pets include 3 other cats and a Sheltie, plus 3 German Shepard mixes (my step-dogs!)
What is the funniest or most memorable experience you’ve have with an animal?
Too many funny memories to count! My pets make me laugh every day. The most memorable experiences with pets to me are the ones that are scared of you at first. Slowly building up an animal’s trust until they come to love you is always an amazing feeling.
Why do you love working with animals?
I’ve been fascinated by all animals every since I was a little girl. I always knew I wanted to work with them in some capacity. I love learning all their little quicks and their individual personalities, and seeing just how “human” they can be. I also specifically enjoy petsitting because I know how stressful it can be to let a stranger into your home to take care of your most vulnerable family member, and I’m happy to be someone my clients can trust.
What is your ultimate goal in life?
To be the neighborhood crazy cat lady!!
What do our pet friends teach us?
So much. Having animals in our lives teaches us responsibility and how to enjoy the little things in life, like sunny walks and watching the birds.
