Take your dog to Katy Trail in Dallas!

Katy Trail is privately funded with community support. The trail is built on an old railroad line and has become an iconic destination for Dallas’s people. This trail spans three and a half miles of beautiful scenery to take a walk or run with your pup. What could be better when the Dallas weather is perfect?

Pets have to be on a short leash when taking a walk through the trail to maintain safety when passing around corners. You must also always pick up after your dog if they choose to use the bathroom on the trail.

You may also purchase a membership to gain access to exclusive Member Events and grant you access to Member Perks around town! Your membership contribution also helps to keep the trails lit when dark, plant more trees, maintain the park water and so much more.

Zilker Botanical Gardens:

Dogs on a leash are welcome to explore the unusual plant life and themed areas of this beautiful Austin attraction.

This gorgeous garden is known as the jewel in the heart of Austin. The themed gardens include the Taniguchi Japanese Garden, Hartman Prehistoric Garden, and Rose Garden. They are interconnected with pathways for all ages and abilities. The garden offers a peaceful respite in the middle of the busy city.

To maintain everyone’s safety, anyone that enters the garden over the age of 10 must wear a face covering to protect themselves and others.
