Pet sitting is a great option for taking excellent care of your pets whether you’re away at work all day, off on a weekend adventure, or even away on an extended trip. Here are the answers to a few of the questions we get most often.
1. Why is it important to see pets daily instead of every other day?
In a perfect world, every other day might be often enough. However, in real life, you never know what might go wrong in a day. In the case of an emergency, such as a spilled water dish or illness or injury, a day can be the difference between a happy ending and a sad one.
2. Why do you need two keys? Isn’t one enough?
If we get a key that won’t work, or accidentally receive the wrong key, or even lose a key, there’s a spare and your pets remain protected in your absence. It’s also a good idea to leave a key with a neighbor – you can’t be too careful.
3. What should I do if my travel plans change?
You can cancel your (non-holiday) reservation up to 24 hours before your first scheduled visit. You can still cancel within 24 hours of the first scheduled visit, but these cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee equal to one visit. We are happy to refund mid-day dog walks as long as we can get in touch with the dog walker before the visit.
