Tell us about your pets?

Currently I have 6 pets! – Thunder(14): West Highland White Terrier/ Maltese Mix. He is the sweetest and most spunky old man you’ve ever met. Unfortunately he’s blind now from age but that doesn’t stop him from living his best sassy life. I’ve had him since I was in kindergarten and we’ve always been each others best friend! – Theo(4) Pekingese mix: Theo is a fiercely loyal, incredibly playful, and ridiculously cuddly little doggie. -Chicken(13) Chihuahua/ Terrier mix: Chicken came into our lives later in her life. We meet her as a shy and territorial dog but as she opened up she has become a sassy little princess that gets just about everything she wants. – Pepé(2) Pomeranian: The only accurate way to describe Pepé is as a little firecracker. In typical Pomeranian fashion he has a ridiculous amount of energy and if he had it his way we’d never stop playing. But when he settles down he makes the best cuddle buddy. – Kiwi(4) Bearded dragon: Kiwi is my bearded dragon that i’ve had since he was just a little hatchling. He is super chill most of the time but watch out because sometimes he has a need for speed! -Zombie(3) Tetra: Zombie is a Tetra we’ve had for 3 years that enjoys swimming through the live plants in his tank.

What is the funniest or most memorable experience you’ve have with an animal?

My most memorable experience with an animal is once when I was pet sitting for some ducks I went to creep clean their outdoor pin when a group of wild geese came up from the creek and didn’t appreciate me being there. So the geese started hissing at me and I backed into the pin closing the door behind me. They proceeded to guard me in for the next 30 minutes. I’m able to laugh at it now as a funny memory but back then the thought of begin attacked by geese was not pleasant.

Why do you love working with animals?

I love working with animals for many reasons. One reason being i’ve always been surround by animals since I was a baby and I couldn’t imagine my life any other way. Another reason is that I just love to get to see new pets everyday and learn more about them!
