Resident Pets

I have a 2 year old german short haired pointer named Dusty and a 5 year old cat named Spike. They both have big personalities and love spending time with the family. Dusty especially is very social and loves to meet new people and other dogs.

What is the funniest or most memorable experience you’ve have with an animal?

It’s hard to pick just one but probably when I was snorkeling one summer and suddenly was swimming with a giant manta ray by myself. The water was super clear and I got to swim with it for several minutes. It was something I’ll never forget.

Why do you love working with animals?

I think they can teach us a lot about what’s truly important in life. For example, unconditional love, the experience of joy, the healing power of nature, and how to treat all creatures with kindness first.
