Resident Pets

I have a male 85lb Doberman and a female 65lb Pitbull. They are my world and I absolutely love every minute I get to spend with them. They are full of energy, so they always keep me on my toes and keep my life exciting haha.

What is the funniest or most memorable experience you’ve have with an animal?

I would say the most memorable experience I’ve had with an animal would be rescuing my female Pitbull. She was passed down from a couple of owners that treated her horribly. They would only keep her outside and feed her table scraps. When I rescued her she was severely underweight and full of fleas, also probably never had a bath. When I first saw her she jumped on my excited and smiling and that’s how I knew I just had to help her! Now she is a perfect weight, active and loving her new life with our Doberman!!

Why do you love working with animals?

I couldn’t imagine a life without animals. They give me a reason to keep going everyday! They are my purpose in life and I’ve always dreamed of a job where I could work with animals everyday. What I do doesn’t feel like “just a job” I really & truly love being around animals everyday. Their unconditional love is what I really admire about all animals. I think we could all learn something positive from animals.
