While some campsites have a strict no pet policy, others welcome your four-legged friends with open arms!
So we decided to compile our favorite pet-friendly campsites in the Dallas area! All of the sites listed are within twenty miles from Dallas city, so you can experience some quality time away without actually traveling too far!
Vineyards Campground
With beautiful, fully-furnished cabins, Wi-Fi, and laundry facilities, the Vineyards Campground is the best of the best. If that isn’t enough, you can have the best of the outdoors with a beautiful forest and fishing lake close by. While staying here, make sure to keep your dog on the leash. What are you waiting for? Enjoy stunning walks, fishing, and swimming at Vineyards Campground.
Hidden Acres RV Park
Hidden Acres RV Park is the ultimate relaxation spot. Enjoy next to no light pollution as you stay at this gorgeous campground. Located on Lake Lavon, you will have plenty of areas to swim and play during the day! Each RV lot has full electrical service, and some spots provide excellent protection from the sun – perfect for bringing your dog in the Texan summer. Dogs must be kept on a leash when outside your car.
Plantation Place RV Resort
This is, without a doubt, the best place for RV camping in the Dallas area. And, they are totally pet friendly?! Just 13 miles east of downtown Dallas, this is luxury at its best.
