Resident Pets

I have had animals all my life. Currently my beautiful Tess (Australian Shepherd mixed with ‘who knows what’ glorious mix 🙂 I adopted when she was one from a rescue and found she was born blind. I have had her for 16 years and she is living her best life. She is known by our community as the smiling one-eyed pirate.

What is the funniest or most memorable experience you’ve have with an animal?

First one that comes to mind is an adorable lab that loves to jump in a swimming pool and then comes running out for full on hugs. The more I laugh the more he won’t stop. I often leave smelling of Eau de Labrador.

Why do you love working with animals?

I totally adore animals. They have such a great energy and fun. Each have their own story and hearts of gold.
