Resident Pets

Yes! I have a Cocker Spaniel/Australian Shepherd
named Nina and an orange tabby cat named Tiger. I
also have two chameleons, Willy and Murphy.

What is the funniest or most memorable experience you’ve have with an animal?

One of my favorite memories is when my dog, Nina,
learned how to swim. I love to go hiking around Austin
with her, and often Nina would dip her toes in the
creeks, but one day she bravely stepped deeper into
the water and when I saw her start to paddle and
swim towards a stick I threw, my heart melted! Proud
dog mama moment.

Why do you love working with animals?

Animals are in the eternal “now”, helping me stay
present, no matter what is going on in my life or the
world. They are a constant source of joy and love. And
they are wonderful listeners!
